Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 31, 2026

PierceFund LLC, doing business as Pierce and Pierce Voice (“Pierce,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and disclose information when you use pierce.fund, Pierce Voice, our event experiences, and related voice, email, text messaging, scheduling, and career-guidance services.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Pierce, we may collect:

  • Contact information, including your name, email address, telephone number, and city.
  • Scheduling information, including appointment dates, times, topics, mentor selections, check-ins, cancellations, and rescheduling requests.
  • Career and event information, including career interests, goals, experience, strengths, challenges, mentor questions, next steps, event participation, and optional resume links.
  • Communication preferences and consent choices, including whether you agreed to voice processing, summaries, email follow-ups, calendar invitations, text messages, or sharing an event briefing.
  • Voice-session information. When you consent, Pierce may process voice audio in real time and create transcripts, summaries, recommendations, and related session records. Raw audio may not be retained for every session.
  • Technical information, including browser, device, network, security, and service-log information needed to operate and protect Pierce.
  • Communications you send to us, including support requests and replies to email or SMS messages.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide Pierce voice and web experiences.
  • Schedule, check in, reschedule, and cancel sessions.
  • Provide career guidance, event preparation, mentor matching, resources, summaries, and next steps.
  • Send requested calendar invitations, secure SMS links, and consented email follow-ups.
  • Remember relevant prior-session information when you ask Pierce to continue your journey.
  • Maintain event and participant records.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Prevent misuse, maintain security, diagnose problems, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Improve the reliability and accessibility of Pierce.

Pierce does not use your mobile number or SMS consent for advertising or third-party lead generation.

SMS Privacy

Pierce sends transactional text messages only after you expressly request or consent to receive them. These messages may contain a secure link that lets you enter or confirm information without spelling it during a voice call.

We do not sell, rent, or use mobile numbers or SMS consent for third-party marketing.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

We may use communication service providers solely to deliver requested messages on our behalf. Those providers are not authorized to use your mobile information or consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

When Information Is Disclosed

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary:

  • To service providers that operate Pierce on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, data storage, artificial-intelligence processing, voice and SMS delivery, email, calendar, customer relationship management, and security providers.
  • To an event organizer, facilitator, or mentor when you clearly approve a specific participant briefing or recap.
  • To comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid government request.
  • To protect the rights, safety, and security of Pierce, our users, or others.

Pierce does not sell personal information. We do not provide participant information to employers, career-resource organizations, event partners, mentors, or other third parties for their independent marketing.

SMS opt-in data and consent are excluded from all participant, mentor, event-partner, and marketing disclosures.

Service Providers

Pierce may use service providers such as Cloudflare for hosting and storage, OpenAI for voice and AI processing, Twilio for voice and SMS delivery, Google for calendar and email services, and HubSpot for authorized contact and journey records.

These providers process information under their own agreements and privacy obligations. Pierce limits the information sent to each provider to what is reasonably necessary for the requested service.

Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Pierce, maintain records, fulfill consented follow-ups, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service.

Retention periods may differ by record type. We may retain consent and opt-out records as necessary to demonstrate messaging compliance.

Your Choices and Rights

You may:

  • Decline voice recording, transcription, or summarization.
  • Decline SMS, email, calendar invitations, or information sharing.
  • Reply STOP to a Pierce text message to prevent future Pierce messages to that number.
  • Reply HELP for messaging assistance.
  • Ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you.
  • Withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis for processing.

To submit a privacy request, email voice@pierce.fund. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about data practices.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and you should avoid sharing highly sensitive information through Pierce.

Children and Young People

Pierce is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users under the age of legal majority should use Pierce with the permission of a parent or guardian where required.

External Resources

Pierce may recommend or link to independent career, education, mentoring, or community resources. Those organizations maintain their own websites and privacy practices. A recommendation does not authorize Pierce to share your information with that organization.

Browser Privacy Signals

Pierce does not track users across unaffiliated websites for targeted advertising. Because we do not engage in that form of tracking, Pierce does not currently respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Pierce changes. The revised policy will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
