Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of pierce.fund, Pierce Voice, Pierce event experiences, and related services provided by PierceFund LLC (“Pierce,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using Pierce, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
About Pierce
Pierce provides voice and web experiences for career exploration, event preparation, scheduling, check-in, mentor conversations, career resources, summaries, and practical next steps.
Pierce may use artificial intelligence to understand requests and generate responses. AI-generated information may be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed before you rely on it.
Pierce does not guarantee employment, admission, funding, mentorship, business success, or any other result. Pierce is not a substitute for legal, financial, medical, mental-health, or other licensed professional advice.
Voice Sessions
Before a voice session is recorded, transcribed, or summarized, Pierce will request your consent. You may decline. Some features that depend on processing the conversation may not be available without consent.
Do not provide Social Security numbers, financial-account information, passwords, medical records, immigration documents, or other highly sensitive information during a Pierce session.
Pierce SMS Links Program
The Pierce SMS Links Program is operated by PierceFund LLC.
When you expressly request or agree to receive a Pierce text message, you consent to receive a transactional SMS containing a secure Pierce link or related service information at the mobile number you provided or used to call Pierce.
SMS consent is voluntary and is not a condition of using Pierce. Pierce does not enroll users in recurring marketing messages.
Message frequency is typically one message per request, plus any response necessary to process a HELP or STOP request.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to cancel and prevent future Pierce messages to that number. After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message. Pierce will not send additional messages unless you provide new consent.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery and timing are not guaranteed.
Pierce may use Twilio and telecommunications carriers to deliver messages. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Your use of the SMS program is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://pierce.fund/privacy.
Email and Calendar Invitations
Pierce sends follow-up emails and calendar invitations only when you request or approve them. You are responsible for confirming that the email address and scheduling information you provide are accurate.
You may ask Pierce to cancel or reschedule an appointment, but a requested change is not complete until Pierce confirms it.
Event and Mentor Information
If you participate in a Pierce-supported event, you may choose whether Pierce can share a short briefing with organizers, facilitators, or mentors. Pierce will not share an approved briefing beyond the stated event purpose.
Event schedules, mentor availability, locations, and third-party program eligibility may change. Verify important details with the relevant organizer or resource provider.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Pierce unlawfully, fraudulently, deceptively, or abusively.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Pierce or another person’s records.
- Interfere with the operation or security of Pierce.
- Submit harmful code or automated traffic.
- Impersonate another person.
- Use Pierce to harass, threaten, exploit, or discriminate against others.
- Use Pierce to send unwanted or unauthorized messages.
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect Pierce, its users, or others.
Your Information
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for obtaining any permission required before submitting information about another person.
Our collection and use of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy at https://pierce.fund/privacy.
Third-Party Services and Resources
Pierce may use or link to services operated by other organizations, including calendar, email, communications, mentoring, education, workforce, and career-resource providers.
Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. Pierce is not responsible for independent third-party services, program eligibility decisions, content, availability, or outcomes.
Ownership
PierceFund LLC owns Pierce’s software, branding, content, and service design, except for content owned by users, partners, or third parties.
You may use Pierce for its intended personal, participant, mentor, or organizational purpose. You may not copy, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Pierce without written permission.
Service Availability and Changes
Pierce may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, delivery of every message, or permanent availability of every record.
Disclaimer and Limitation
Pierce is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. PierceFund LLC disclaims warranties that are not expressly required by law.
To the extent permitted by law, PierceFund LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of Pierce, reliance on AI-generated information, message delays, missed appointments, or third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Pierce evolves. Updated Terms will be posted at this address with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
